Children's Portraits

Spending time with the children is an experience I treasure. I prefer to place a prop or two in the studio for them to explore and capture the joys of the moment without them looking at the camera. Candid shots are sometimes the best way to show a child’s personality. Once they are accustomed to the surroundings they settle down and I can pose them for a quick close up.

Parents are welcome to bring anything from home to make the picture truly their own.

It truly is amazing how quickly a child’s facial expressions will change with each new item I bring out for the session. Normally I try to have at least two different back drops and props per session. A typical session will result in 30 to 50 pictures to choose from.
